Working with Page Elements - BETA

  1. Containers - A Container is an expandable space used to house other page elements together. You can place any page element inside a container. It’s a powerful component which lets you divide sections of a page into grid-like layouts. 

    Add a Container on a Page
    To add a Container, click the Add [+] Button on the top left corner in the Page Editor to slide the web page elements menu. Then simply drag the Container element into the page you’re working on.

    Add page Elements inside a Container
    To add a page element inside a Container, just drag and drop the object inside the container.

    Container as Page Sections
    A Container is an expandable space that can be used to house page elements and divide the page into sections.

    Container for Grouping Page Objects
    A Container can be used to house page objects that belong together. You can place any page element inside a container.

    Container Property Settings
    Like any page element, the Container has its own property settings. You can change the following settings for Containers:

    • Background
    • Size
    • Position & Padding
    • Alignment
    • Borders & Shadow

  2. Columns - A Column is an expandable space that can have 2 or more cells side by side. It can be used to house other page elements to create grid-like layouts. You can place any page element inside of a Column.

    Add a Column Element on a Page
    To add a Column, click Add [+] Button on the top left corner in the Page Editor to slide the web page elements menu. Then simply drag the Column element into the page you’re working on.

    Add Page Elements inside a Column
    To add a page element inside a Column, just drag the object over to the cell.

    Columns for Grouping Page Objects
    A Column can be used to house page objects that belong together. You can place any page element inside a column.

    Add or Delete Columns
    To you can add or delete columns. Click the [dropdown arrow] at the corner right section of the cell.

    A column will always have a minimum of 2 cells. If you want a single cell, create a container.

    Column Cell Property Settings
    You can change the settings of each column cell. Click the [dropdown] arrow at the corner right section of the cell, then choose “Column Properties.” 

    You can change the following settings:

    • Background
    • Padding
    • Borders & Shadow
    *To adjust the padding of the column, you must do this with on the individual cell settings


  3. Containers & Columns - Containers and Columns are expandable spaces that is used to house other page elements together.  You can place any page element inside of a container or a column. It’s a powerful component which lets you divide sections of a page into grid-like layouts. The difference between a Container and a Column is that a Container has only 1 expandable cell. Columns, on the other hand, can have 2 or more expandable cells side by side.

    Add a Container or Column
    To add a Container or a Column, click Add [+] Button on the top left corner in the Page Editor to slide the web page elements menu. Then simply drag the Container or Column element into the page you’re working on.

    Add an Object inside a Container or Column
    To add a page element inside a Column or Container, just drag the object over to the container / column.

  4. Pictures

    Add a Picture on a Page
    Click the Add [+] Button to slide out the Page Elements menu. Click the Picture element from the menu, then drag it to a section on the page.

    Click the [settings icon] to load the property settings of the Picture element

    Upload an Image File
    There are 2 ways to upload an image:

    • Upload the file from your computer; or
    • Provide a URL that points to the image

  5. Videos

    Add a Video on a Page
    Click the Add [+] Button to slide out the Page Elements menu. Click the Video element from the menu, then drag it to a section on the page.

    Property Settings Menu
    Click the [settings icon] to load the property settings of the Video element.

    Upload a Video File
    There are 2 ways to upload a Video:

    • Upload the file from your computer; or
    • Provide a URL that points to the video

  6. Buttons

    Add a Button to the Page
    Click the Add [+] Button to slide out the Page Elements menu. Click the Headline or Text element from the menu, then drag it to a section on the page.

    Property Settings Menu
    Click the [settings icon] to load the property settings of the Button element to change the following:

    • Button Text - font style, size, and color
    • Button Link - when button is clicked, it redirects to another page or URL
    • Button Size
    • Position & Padding
    • Alignment
    • Button Color (advanced)
    • Borders & Shadow (advanced)
    • Presets (advanced)

  7. Headline and Text

    Add a Headline or Text to a Page
    Click the Add [+] Button to slide out the Page Elements menu. Click the Headline or Text element from the menu, then drag it to a section on the page.

    Text Content Editing
    Whether it’s a headline or text object, to edit the text just start typing!

    To format the text to bold, italicize, or underline, highlight the text to show the formatting options or use keyboard shortcuts:

    • Bold - ctrl + b
    • Italicize - ctrl + i
    • Underline - ctrl + u


  8. Form Fields

    Add a Form Field to the Page
    Click the Add [+] Button to slide out the Page Elements menu. Click the Form Field element from the menu, then drag it to a section on the page.

    Property Settings Menu
    Click the [settings icon] to load the property settings of the Form Field element to change the following:

    • Placeholder Text Content
    • Field Type
    • Font Style
    • Font Size
    • Position & Padding
    • Field Size
    • Alignment

    Text Content Settings

    • Placeholder Text - enter the text that you want to appear inside the text form field
    • Field Type  - choose the field type for the form field

  9. Background Settings - You can change the background of an entire page by clicking the [Body Settings] from the top left corner of the page.

    Change the Background Color
    You can pick a solid color for the background, use the color theme generator, or paste in a hex color code.

    Change the Background Image
    You can also upload an image from your computer or paste in a URL that points to that image.

    You can set the position of the background image to cover the entire page or just have it contained inside the page.

    You can set the image to tile in the background.
