This will allow you to keep a list of all inventory items in your CRM.
Upon shipment, automatic inventory transactions can occur depending upon Inventory Profile / Item configurations.
The inventory profiles are based off of the SKU of a product.
To create an Inventory Profile, click on the actions drop down menu and click “Add Inventory”. You will then need to fill out the following fields:
Inventory Name: Create a name for your profile.
SKU: Enter in the SKU of the product you wish to track inventory on. You can enter only 1 SKU per profile.
Description: Enter a brief description of your inventory profile.
Reorder Notification: Select if you would like to receive a reorder notification for your purposes only.
This will be sent to the email that you have in the CRM.
Tracking: Select if you would like the tracking to be manual or automated. Manual will not automatically adjust inventory quantity. Automatic will adjust inventory quantities when orders are marked as shipped and the tracking number is added.
Low Quantity Limit: Set the lowest limit for the quantity of the product. When the quantity reaches the limit, you will receive an email notification.
*Reorder notification must be set to “Yes” in order for the email notification to send when Low Quantity Limit is reached.
Reorder Amount: Set the reorder amount you would like to use. This is for informational purposes only.
Note- You will need to configure your Manufacture and Warehouse profiles before creating an inventory item. Every Inventory Profile has an ‘Unknown’ Default inventory item, and will default to ‘Unknown’ default warehouses and manufacturers.
Also, you will be unable to delete an inventory profile if any inventory is attached to it.
Creating an inventory item
After creating your Inventory Profile, you have the option to create an inventory item.
Click on the pencil symbol to edit your inventory profile, and then scroll down to where it says “Inventory Items”.
Go to the Actions drop down menu, and click “add inventory item”.
The Actions will allow you to add an inventory item, Create Inventory Transaction, Delete Inventory Items, and Export CSV.
The Inventory Import will allow you to import inventory data into your CRM.
To perform an inventory item import, go to Admin Settings -> Import & Export -> Import Queue -> Actions -> Queue Import -> Inventory to add Inventory Items to an Inventory Profile.
To perform an inventory item transaction import, go to Admin Settings -> Import & Export -> Import Queue -> Actions -> Queue Import -> Inventory Transaction to create a transaction on an Inventory Item.
The imports are supported as CSV format only.
This is where you will create a profile for your warehouse. You can create 1 profile per warehouse location.
To create a profile for your warehouse, go to Offers -> Warehouse, click on the actions drop down menu, and select “Add Warehouse”.
You will then need to fill out the necessary parameters for your warehouse details.
You cannot delete/disable a warehouse that is attached to an inventory item.
This is where you will create a profile for your manufacturer. Fill out the necessary fields and click save.
