To configure BeanStream Gateway into your Lime Light CRM, you will go to Payment Systems>Gateway Providers and select BeanStream in your Gateway Accounts drop down menu. Click on “Add Gateway” and fill out the gateway parameters.
These parameters are briefly described here for your reference:
Username: Same username that you set up for your gateway API, this is not the username you use to log in to the gateway account.
Password: Same password that you set up for your gateway API, this is not the password you use to log in to the gateway account.
Currency: BeanStream Gateway currently supports USD and CAD. You can select one currency per gateway account.
Merchant Id: This is the merchant Id you have configured within the gateway account.
Post Billing: Select “YES” if working within the US only. If working with multiple countries, please select “NO” and contact BeanStream to have the address, city, state, zip, and country as optional fields instead of required.
Use Decline Salvage?: Select "Yes" if you're using the decline salvage service that is offered through Verifi.
Gateway Alias: Name that you will assign to the gateway. This is for internal purposes only; it helps you identify a specific gateway account among several of them in your CRM.
Once your gateway profile has been created, then you will go through your campaigns and assign the gateway to the corresponding campaign(s).
Setting up your gateway
You must apply the following setting to the back-end of your gateway account in order for you to be able to issue refunds and voids within your Lime Light CRM:
1. Click on “administration”, and under account settings click on “order settings”.
2. Make sure that the option “Restrict Internet Transaction Processing Types” is unchecked, or you will not be able to refund/void. Also, please check the “Use username/password validation against transaction” and submit the credentials you created for your gateway API.
