Configuring CardReady Gateway

To configure the CardReady Gateway into your Lime Light CRM, you will go to Payment Systems>Gateway Providers and select CardReady from your Gateway Accounts drop down menu. Click on “Add Gateway” and fill out the gateway parameters.

These parameters are briefly described here for your reference:

Merchant Code: This will be provided to you by CardReady.

Key Index: This will be provided to you by CardReady.

Merchant Private Key: This key is generated by you with Open SSL. This key is generated by you, and is not provided by Card Ready.  The Merchant Public Key is generated from the Merchant Private Key.

*The Merchant Key download provided in the CardReady interface is the Merchant Public Key you provided to CardReady, and it is not the Merchant Private Key that is needed to be configured in the Lime Light CRM.

System Private Key: This key is provided by CardReady after you provide the Merchant Public Key to CardReady.

Currency: The CardReady Gateway currently supports USD and EUR currencies.

Use Decline Salvage?: Select "Yes" if you're using the decline salvage service that is offered through Verifi.

Gateway Alias: Name that you will assign to the gateway. This is for internal purposes only; it helps you identify a specific gateway account among several of them in your CRM.

Here are step-by-step instructions to follow in order to provide us with the required encryption keys:

1) Client generates an RSA merchant key. (CardReady should assist with, or provide this)

2) Client inputs the PUBLIC merchant key to CardReady terminal

3) Client retrieves key index and system PUBLIC key from terminal

4) Client inputs key index, merchant PRIVATE key, system PUBLIC key into LimeLight gateway profile

Once your gateway profile has been created, then you will go through your campaigns and assign the gateway to the corresponding campaign(s).
